Tried this place today, and I was very happy with my Cali burrito. It was huge, so I got 2 meals out of it and enjoyed it just as much the 2nd time around! There was a good amount of meat, and it was well seasoned. The cheese was nicely melted and the potatoes weren't crispy or over cooked like some taco shops where it tastes like next day stale refried potatoes. I also love that it comes with guacamole as a lot of taco shops are cheap and don't include it anymore. The lettuce usually doesn't come in most Cali burritos so the fresh crisp was actually really good in there. I'd like to try more of their menu.

Wow. Stopped in for 2 fish tacos, take out.

Service was friendly, fair prices, prepared promptly.
Got home & was totally grossed out.
The fish was over cooked by a bit. Fairly crunchy.
They put tartar sauce on the tacos. Okay. Fish & tartar sauce. I can deal. But... then they put guacamole. that is a nausea inducing combo in my book. No thanks. Not going back. -

This place wins my vote for best Mexican food in lemon grove, and top 3 best budget restaurants in San Diego. It's classic San Diego Mexican food at the perfect price. Amazingly un pretentious, and consistent high quality and BIG portions, which is what you expect and hope for! I ordered a Cali burrito, adobada taco, and fish taco. The tacos were HUGE and the burrito was also crazy packed and big on flavor. Highly reccomended if you're in the area and want a San Diego standard at a great price.

Just want to cover an earlier review which was given a priority by the owner, Marcos. He made a good will effort to correct an issue that was more an anomaly than an issue. My go to local spot!! Love all their burritos and dont forget taco tuesday!! 1$ mini tacos .. it's literally my tuesday lunch and dinner!
